19 th International Wildlife Film Festival ALBERT March 21 -29 , 2009 Regulations 2009 1-
The
Festival deals with environmental issues, wildlife, hunting and fishing and is
opened to wildlife Film Makers, be they professional or not. Reports,
documentaries, fiction or cartoon films made this year or last year are all
welcome. 2-
The
Festival will take place in Albert’s "Théâtre
du Jeu de Paume"
from Saturday March 21th to Sunday March 29th , 2009. 3-

3.1 Amateur entries :

sent for selection will remain the property of the Festival’s video library. 3.4-
Entry fees (no charges for TV
channels) The
first registration costs 30 euros, the following ones are free. You’ll
receive details for bank transfer just after we’ll have registered your
entries. The
applicants allow the Festival to use their work as it is deemed necessary,
allowing them : to
show the films, or parts of it, without copyright to
use pictures from them to
have any other right concerning intellectual property. The
film-makers give the Festival’s organisers full authority to translate the
dialogues and / or comments of their films so that they can be used during the
Festival. Therefore, they guarantee that there will be no appeal against this
process. The
film-makers allow the organisers to reproduce the texts, photographs,
biographies, filmographies provided and to use their films, or parts of them
during the Festival or its promotion. 3.6 - The
films which have belonged to a previous selection will not be taken into account. 3.7 - A
jury will select the films participating in the final competition. No appeal
will be accepted against the jury’s decision. 3.8– Every director will be sent the result of the selection by December.

Screening copies to audience: Either
international Version DVD
PAL (without text) or BETA SP PAL
copies (with text on a separate sound track) will be accepted to make the French

4.3-
Transport, Customs and Insurance
Producers
will pay for the transport and insurance costs for every copy sent to the
Festival. They will also pay for the forwarding agent’s cost at importation
and re-exportation. No
claim will be accepted in case of damage during postage to and fro.
4.4- The Award ceremony will
take place on the last Sunday of Festival at 3.30 p.m. - Best
of all (1500 €) -

Young Audience Award The Film Maker (or his representative ) will receive
his trophy exclusively during the award ceremony Other special prizes will be given: -

Best sound track 4.5- An award certificate will be given to each
finalist. 5- Selected Film Makers’
accommodation Accommodation
and meals are provided to each film maker and partner (1 double room) or one
representative (1 single room) from last Friday evening to last Sunday lunch of
the festival, given that their coming has been duly registered (see
participating form if finalist) .
